The Old House

The old house was previously the main bar to the coaching inn. We have tried to maintain much of the original features and we still use the space to accommodate smaller events at sorrel house. As a result it is a large space for our guests to relax and unwind. It is directly attached to the main house through the main lobby yet very private from the larger property. An open plan living space consisting of a breakfast room and snug/games room which sit across an open fireplace. We keep the supply of firewood topped up throughout the year which our guests are welcome to use free of charge. Upstairs accessed by the main staircase through the lobby are 3 superking ensuite bedrooms. Chamomile, Angelica and Lovage. For added flexibility, all of the rooms can also be set up as twins.

The Main House

The main house restored in 2001, the larger of the two spaces sleeps 6/8.  Bespoke interior design is stylish, relaxed and contemporary throughout and the spacious open plan living makes it so family friendly for larger parties and groups.  The sociable and well-equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need for a fabulous dinner party or hearty Sunday roast - the main dining table can be extended to seat 14.  Adjacent to the dining area is a fully functional cocktail bar for you to play host with your guests. There is large fridge/freezer and also extra refrigeration for bottled drinks. Upstairs there are three ensuite superking double bedrooms, Feverfew, Fennel & Rosemary.  Each bedroom can be made into twin beds and accommodate an extra single bed if necessary.
