Enjoy alfresco drinks and dining on the terrace overlooking the fountain, our small vegetable farm and herb garden. There is plenty of room for children to play and it has accommodated amateur badminton(although sets aren’t currently supplied you are welcome to bring your own!) and hosted intimate wedding celebrations in the past. Alternatively spend some time in the front where you can sit and watch over the children whilst they bike ride and play ball games.

A truly unique place to relax and enjoy luxurious country living. Here are a few activities that we can highly recommend during your stay:

Take a soak in the wood fired hot tub. (Booking by prior arrangement necessary.)

Walk up the hill direct routes to the top with stunning views over the local countryside and beyond. We have local walking maps available in the lobby area to help you navigate the local countryside.

Meander over to Corbet woods and explore the loving restoration work taking place by Sansaw estate, walk through the striking hillside where parts were once mined for the locally prized Grinshill stone used in the build of Sorrel House.

Drink and be merry on our terrace in the late afternoon sun and on into warm summer nights.

Bring your bikes and cycle some of the different routes around the local area and maybe stop for a well earned drink midway in one of the many local pubs.
